Hey guys, this is my second grow, and it is okay pretty well.

I am using neptunes harvest, and soil made by my local plant growers asociation!
The plants seem to really like the soil... wonder if it was made to grow weed in? These girls are both clones, I took them while the plants were done with flower. and I took a couple little popcon buds and rooted them in 12/12 then
re-vegged them.

Then

Now

Will post a better picture of my other girl in a bit.
As you can see, cloning buds makes your plants bushy as fuck.

But I leave you all with a question, should I trim her up a bit? I just switched to flower and they have stretched out a little. I don't want to butcher my girl if I don't have to, but this thing has 5 tops, and all the nodes have growths coming out of them, some of them getting so big they turn into tops! so.. what do I do guys? thin her out a bit? maybe use string to separate all the tops? Or should I just let her grow as is?

LST is key for growing with cfls, getting the canopy spread out as evenly as possible to get the tops all as close to the light as you can without heat damage.....
i would trip her out a bit or start pullin that bitch down!
llookin good tho nice reveg

Hey, I decided to thin her out. by making clones!

Cloning in dirt is not the best, but I used root hormone and they have a humidity dome. Last time I cloned like this my success rate was 100% (probably just luck though!)

Better picture of my other girl.

And I also tied her down a little as you can see, string and duct tape did the trick. Plenty of light can get to those inner leaves now. I did LST last time, probly didn't need considering I did 12/12. considering how many branches they have, I kind of have to this time lol.

hey, you guys know those clones? Well all of them rooted!

Rooting hormones + good soil + humidity = rooted clones!! 14 days to get roots, bubble can be faster. but this is cheaper =D

what am I going to do with all these clones.... As of now I plan on vegging them in my little box for a couple weeks. then I will flower them. And I am really thinking of getting an hps lol.

Hey guys, Been a little while. Got some little clusters of calyxes forming. Just the tip of the iceberg. got 5 nice healthy little clones in 12/12. plus the 2 other plants. my biggest girl got a little sick. not sure why. Might have been a ph problem or something. I used a different kind of soil in her first pot, and when I gave her nutes she got all wilted and yellow :(

heres two of the girls and one of the clones.

SANY0095.jpg pic of some of the clones together. they are under about 75w of cfl right now. Plus the ambient light from everything else. Not a dim spot in the room got probly 75w per square foot at the moment. For these, I am trying to get the "Bud on a stick" effect.

Hey guys, Some more pics.

The meter was 7 bucks and seems to actually work really well. As I suspected, the first soil I used on the 2 big girls, had a very low ph. I fixed it by poking holes down into the soil and putting some pelitized lime in each of the holes, the ph is showing low 6's wherever I stick it, even a few days after being watered. she isn't droopy and everything is turning a nice dark green again. The clones are doing great and starting to push out pistols here and there.

Some pics of the developing buds, and a couple of the clones.

This clone almost didn't make it, that leaf was bright yellow. but as you can see, there's new growth!. I've got her sitting in the area I keep my unrooted clones in. I think I may be able to grow her out into a mom!

Feel free to comment guys, It's so quiet in here :<

Very nice man, Its my first time and my plant is no where near as bushy or as green as yours. Could you maybe give me a few pointers? I dont have a pH meter yet but im working on it. +rep

This should be able to answer Both of your questions. First off, use a lot of light. Keep them as close as you can, and use side lighting! The reason that plant is so extremely bushy is. I cloned a bud, Then I revegged the cloned bud. It causes all of the calyxes to turn into weird growths and it just branches out. even as it gets older it keeps branching out for a good month! I don't know how this will turn out, I have never done it before! I love experimenting with plants haha.

OntarioHydro420, I don't know much about hydro. But if you are actually in soil, I can help you a bit. If you don't have a ph meter, I would just make sure you have good soil that is ph balanced. organic nutes help too. neptunes harvest is 15 bucks for a bottle that can last 10 grows! also helps to have dolomitic lime on hand. It adjusts the ph to 7. Although not the best ph for your plants, but it's better than 6 or less. Just throw a little in with the nutes, not much. it will balance out the acidity of the nutrients.

hahah i got ignored wow,no help for you :finger:
How did I ignore you? I answered your question Directly after your post, I told you that I cloned a bud. It causes weird growth patterns when you reveg it.
Even if I had ignored your question, it doesn't matter because it was answered in the first post! As if I need the help of somone who can't read lol

Thanks!

Heres some more pics.

to bad the brown spots on leaves never heal, but they are growing great!

Clones are getting huge, and all have buds.
