Hey Yall!

Alright so I got a PC Case and I started this grow journal when it sprouted. It actually sprouted yesterday. The growth has been very rapid, it went from not being able to see any leaves to now I can see them most definitely getting bigger.

Specs -

The PC Case is 26.5" Tall
I have 4x26 CFL, I have a ONE red spectrum and 3 cool white (Blue spectrum)

The Dinafem Industrial was a freebie seed from The Attitude. I bought Aurora Indica however this was a fem seed so I was like fuck it I'm gonna try it and LST the shit out of it. Germed it, planted it and boom it's growing now.

Your really going to have to LST that a lot. I had to really LST my autos when I used to use my PC Grow Case. One plant at a time.

Heres a few factors I'm putting in play.

-The container it's growing in is small itself, there is alot of room for roots but not enough where it will grow crazy and out of control if I used like a 10+ Gallon sized pot.
-I figure if I use Scrog and LST the shit out of it then I should be safe? Atleast I think I will be?

Hey man looks good. I like how you have the lights right down on her. Wish I could do that. Going to be getting some magenets for my next grow in the pc. Not much to see so far but it looks good. Keep up the good work. STAY HIGH!!!

Watch out with the lights that close to such a young plant. Case grows are known for being hot due to the small fans most computer cases use. If you know you have good ventilation and the temp inside is fine then don't worry about it. Otherwise, play it safe and back off the plant about another inch until it gets a big more mature. Just my opinion.

The lights are maybe 3" away, the thing with CFL's is you gotta keep em close when there young, if you are using HPS you can keep them like 2 ft away. I'm gonna eventually put them higher. Also the temp level is actually REALLY good. I was surprised but no it isn't hot at all in there if not I wish it would be more warm, but hey better cold than warm I suppose. I have 3 fans inside of here and they provide great ventilation.

I'm thinking if I can harvest an ounce at least that would be awesome, I've seen 2.2oz dried in one case, as a matter of fact the same case as mine.

Alright, just was making sure. :D Seen too many PC case grows go south due to insufficient ventilation.

Yeah it's all good, with PC Cases it's extremely crucial you have good ventilation because of the small space your working with. I've seen people TRY and grow in small cases like 16" the thing is you CANNOT grow in those small cases, you have to buy a server case. Also I should add the bigger the case the more easier it is to work with ventilation. With my fan's I can't tell which is an outtake and an intake because I feel as if they are all blowing in air not blowing out air?

There is a really easy way to tell whether your computer fan is blowing in or out. I work with computers for a living and love them just as much as MJ so I'll find a good picture for you.
:)

This picture the fan would be blowing AT you. Notice the 4 tension brackets holding the motor in place. If you are looking at a side of the fan, and these brackets are facing you, your fan is blowing out. Also, note how the fan blades are turned when looking from this direction:

This is an example of a fan that would be blowing AWAY from you. Notice the lack of the brackets, and the fins are now reversed:

You always want to be creating negative pressure, so always ensure your fans are exhaust and not intake. Intake will waste your time, unless its at the very front of the case. The only reason you would even want it to be intake at that point would be to avoid turbulent airflow (two fans blowing out totally opposite directions).

Hope this helped!

if you have 1 intake and 2 outakes that will give you the feeling that nothing is blowing out. there isnt enough air going into the case. im not sure the reason it makes all the fans feel like there blowing the same direction but i know if you make more of intake, maybe add a passive intake, this will help pull more air out and stress your fans less

If you can make them all exhaust, then allow for big enough vents (passive intake) this will maximize the amount of CFM you are pulling through your case. Any new updates on the babies?

Hold on my bad, I meant two intakes one outtake.

Right now she's doing really good, The growth on her is very rapid and changes daily as a matter of fact. Right now the lights are off however when they go back on I'll be sure to update it with new pics!
