Default Good Strains For CFLs

Are there any certain strains that do well under CFL's? I've been wanting to try some WW, white russian, ak47, satori and mango(If anyone has any suggestions of some potent head high strain that gives the giggles and finishes in under 11 weeks flowering that would be great). Also if previous growers with CFLs could post what thier harvests were and how many watts they used. Also on a side note I just read 8 oz. for under $100 and its an awesome book for CFL growers.

I just put 2 AK-47's into the flowering room under cfls about 3 days ago. They are about they are 13inches tall right now. I hope to hear that they are good producers under cfls also.

I definitely recommend 100% indica. They grow shorter... sativas and dominant sativa crosses grow too tall for the closet.

I thought Northern Lights would grow too tall. Most of the ones that i have seen, seem to grow to tall for the room that i have. I have just at 4ft of height in my flowering area.

Depend on how tall yur closet is? I grew 4 footers with 1 42 watt cfl at top, and 4 26 W all around the middle- tops of each plant. I would think a good strain for a cfl would have to have atleast two things. One being it not be too tall, like a haze, thai, or durban. Stay away from pure sativas, nothing more that skunk or s. cough which is 75% sativa. But more importantly, you want a strain that would give you heavy yields in the first place. Everybody knows Cfls cut down yield big time, so that just be priority 1! So if you want to play it safe, go with Kush, papaya, shiva, skunk, NL. But AK is what you really need. Powerful sativa high, heavy yields, easy to grow, and not too tall!!!
