yes... i have witnessed a few grows...

you can actually see a few of the grows i WITNESSED if you goto seemorebuds.com and watch the trailers...

hi to all ,I'm a complete novice on hear and still cant work out how to post threads and shit, im on my first grow with 8 youngladies in my diy flowering room im kinda using sog but im making it up as i go mainley from reading all your posts so thank ya all x i have four or five diffrent strains and they have now been flowering for 5 weeks looking in forum picks there doing really well , any way to the point i started them flowering under a 250watt invirolight for three weeks then i swapped that for a 400hps to fatten them up MY QUESTION was this a good idea ? any advise would be ace x

Well those are some nice pics of hps grows, what i curious about was if you notice any difference between the two types of lighting, cfl and hps, in your own growing endeavers or your "witnessed" grows. Ill check out seemore though.

ok.
I understand that you want the bulb as close as possible to the plant for maximum growth, etc.

But does lumens not come into play also?

My question is........
If a 43 watt cfl is 1 inch away form a plant.
And a 250 watt cfl is 6 inches from plant.

Would the performance be approximately the same for each plant?
or
Do you still need the 250watt cfl 1 inch from plant to perform the same?

ahh well the trailer almost had a tiny trace of a peice of a sliver of information for my question. Ok so on the subject of potency: Cfl vs Hps? What is your personal view? Im intrested in what YOU think.

Hey SNAGGY... in general, you want to put lights as close as you can without burning your plants... especially with fluorescents...

WHAT gets you the most HIGH.. the highest.. HIGHER?

CFL bud or HID bud.. is this the question?

You know Chronic... when I smoke I enjoy all the HERB pretty much the same... I like to smoke.. put on some sunglasses and play frisbee for hours with an occasional dip in the ocean to snap me outta the fog.. i like to stay away from food and BE WARM in the suns rays...

I must admit that I am not very critical about herb.. OTHER THAN AESTHETIC and TASTE....

I've been growing with cfl's for almost a year now. I went that route for cost, b/c I'm just getting into growing. I've harvested 5 separate crops of plants numbering from 3 to 6 plants. My first plants were pathetic like 17 grams of wet bud per plant. Two days ago I harvested 3 plants and got about 150gr per plant. I had one cola from an 15 inch tall plant that weighed 57 grams by itself!

As far as potency, its some of the stoniest bud around. I'm still growing bag seed and the bud has been killer. After I hone my skills with the cfl's I'm ordering some Ak-47 seeds and investing in hps lights.

Ohh man 17 r u kidding? jk... That beats my fist harvest though. i know know your all jealous, i got 10.5 grams wet weight

on my first grow. I grew it the best i could in its flowering stage but it was veged in almost rock solid earth for its fist month and a half.

Anyways, man great improvement. 57 gs? nice man. You must have been doing some bulb upgading heh? Got any pics of your grow? Love to see them.
