Nah incandescent means the emission of light from a hot body source due to its temperature. Its just a regluar house hold light bulb. But not only does it reflect light but it also reflects alot of heat which is why you don't want to use foil.

Hey GK, I got 4 day plants and i just put 2 45 W CFLs on top. Will they be ok for some time while they get bigger?

I got 3 plants, 4 days old. I just changed Halogen i used to bring the sprout up, now i placed 2 45W (160) CFLs on the top really close to them. Will this setup be okay for some time?

what wattages and spectrum cfls do you guys use for flowering... same as veg or more red specs?
