Well I put them in soil I need a good camera to take pics and post them everything is looking good so far but their very little lol.. babies! Cant wait for the next couple weeks to see them grow up.

I used this book as a guide for sure it definatly helped!!!

I've been using this book and so far can say that it's been dead-on accurate. In fact, sometimes I almost feel a little ahead of schedule. Instead of the fixture, I'm using clamp lights (which came with reflective hoods) and a pully system. Attached are my pics 17 days in.

This book is amazing, my buddy came back from his trip to the USA and he got me buds for less, I started my first CFL grow now and I'm happy with it.

I did have a question tho. I have an old florecent light fixture that holds 4 bulbs.

It looks like it used to be in the kitchen. The bulbs say 34w b7 and has E circled on them. they look pretty big. Is this a t12?

if so can i replace it with correct bulbs and use to eventually sex some clones to determine sex?

my friend and i were going to grow mids in his backyard. then we saw ur book at borders, its the shit! now were growing purp. my only complaint the $100 budget is kind of hard to stick too. my last 4 paychecks (part time. $180 after some bills) have gone towards it.--- but that book is spot on. thanks

I designed my light fixture pretty much identical to the setup in this book and cannot find reflectors that will fit the 42 watt cfl, let alone two of them in a y split.....can anyone share with me where to get some reflectors that will work with this set up?
