I have a 31 gal rubbbermaid. I have 6 cfl's for veg, which i"m also going to use in flower for extra light. Has anyone here grown in a similar tote with a 150W HPS? I'm thinking of vegging clone for about 4-5 weeks, LST as well. 6x26w CFL's-6500k Then flower with the 150W HPS and 6 2700K cfls too. Intake fan in the middle and vent holes + a fan inside blowing air up to the vent holes.This will be a topping/ LST grow 1 or two plants..I am getting a clone and rooting it in a rapid rooter, then transplanting into coco. FF trio, and probably Beastie bloomz too. Ifanyone has done this what kind of temps did you get?. i did a temp test with 6 cfl's and it wouldn't go above 72. I will buy another fan for when i get the 150W HPS in here. ..Any feedback would be greatly appreciated...

is that tub even big enough to fit a 150w hps system into? most 150w systems have the ballast attached to the hood. even if it does fit, you'll burn the shit out of all your plants, and your temps will most likely always be too high. for any HID light you need good ventilation AND a source of cool air.

Definetly not a good idea. Plants would be burnt badly plus the heat in there would be unbelivable and possibly a fire hazard.
