Gang,

I am a pc grower and here is my issue if you will. PLant is doing GREAT and has stretched a lot. I have a heat shield below my 3 main cfls and the top cola is pretty much nearly touching it. My question is, will the plant realize it can not grow in height anymore and just grow wide or what will happen?

To late to LST anymore, the stem is rock hard and thick as a nickle. First grow here so just wondering what the plant will do. From what I have read, the stretching should be about over, it is a mostly indica Snow White.

you cant move your light up anymore?? and your flowering with cfl's?? why??

pc grow. I have plenty of light. 122 actual watts for one plant. That is not the issue. The lights can not be adjusted, they are on a power strip epoxied to the case or I would. I have a lexon heat shield just below.

its a pc grow.
i know of no hid bulb that works in a pc.

if it is only three weeks into flowering, you can top it no problem.
i know that you'll be cutting off pistils and whatnot, but it will actually create mutant huge buds later on.
it will solve your height problem.

Well my question really is what will the plant do left untouched? My cola is fattening real nice here. Here is a pic taken a few days ago...She is only about 18 days in flower. I have to assume the plant will stop growing taller, I mean if there is something stopping it, it would have to. My logic would be this would create either growing wider and or focusing more energy into flowers/buds....

THoughts?

i guess since u dont want to top it (i wouldnt either with a bud like that forming), go ahead and let it grow into the heat sheild... seems like ur only option since you cant LST it and u wont top it... just take these considerations earlier on in your next grow... learn from experience....

btw.. it will focus more energy on your buds if it CANT grow anymore... i have only noticed about 3 inches of growth on my top mini cola since flowering... so you mite not have a whole lot of vertical growth, but your bud WILL get taller and fatter... piks of your grow box would be nice to help u out with some solutions to fixing it... maybe next time you can do a mini scrog since you know that height WILL be an issue... check out my grow in my sig to see what i have to work with... i trained mine to grow in the shape of my box... i will however prolly be working on a scrog grow soon to see how it works in pc grow boxes...

Tie it down a bit. Nothing too severe...but a few inches reduction in height will buy you enough time as it does not keep growing vertically throughout flower.

Thanks my friend, I will shoot a pic up of what the insides etc. look like tomorrow. I have about 9 colas (including the main one) and for my first micro grow, I think she looks pretty good. Don't indicas usually stop stretching within 3 weeks into flower anyway? She was about 3 inches off soil going in and at least 10 inches tall now at 18 days since first pistol showed....
