Well here is a plant we have had flowering for about a month and a half. It was topped right away and then the tops were lst'd down and it really gave us a lot of good colas.

She is under about 8 cfl's and temps stay constantly in the mid 80's with the lights on.

The soil is organic miracle grow mixed with blood meal and fed fish emulsion during vegging.

Been feeding it super bloom and molasses during flowering.

How does it look and when does it look ready to harvest?

looks good bro!!! head down to radio shack or your hydro store and grab a magnifying glass ( loupe ) and take a look at the crystals ( trichomes, little mushroom lookin things ). when they are about 50 - 60% amberish color theyre ready. do this quick as you are gonna wanna have time to flush ( or leach ) your soil before you harvest.

It vegged for around a month or so and it was fed blood meal and fish emulsion during veg.

Not sure on the lumen count but it has 8 23 watt bulbs surrounding it. I can take some pictures of her in the grow box later tonight when the lights turn back on.

She is gettin real stanky now. I'll probably pic up a microscope thing at radio shack like d rock said. I saw some there for like 12 bucks last week.

Mary, Mary quite contrary how does your graden grow? Hydroponics? Ultra supersonic? Or does it grow naturally slow?

Whats up with the leaves yellowing so early into flowering? I grow under floros too and mine have never done that. Also have you ever tried to harvest your plants in stages? I find that when you use floros the light doesn't penetrate to the lower part of the canopy. Which I find to be about 6" from the bulb. I prune and use lst to try and get a solid canopy across my grow space.

Around 8-9 weeks there are usually a few dominant buds and I harvest those. After you cut those main buds, the canopy just explodes and those remaining buds get fat as hell. Just continue flowering and harvesting, after the 3rd x the plant is uaually toast and needs to be vegged or tossed out.

By the time you're at the 3rd harvest you could of theoretically grown out several clones or started new seeds. Then start the process all over again.

I lied i think the plant has been flowering for about 7.5 weeks and we plan on harvesting the main colas first and letting the smaller bud fill out for at least another week or so after the plant has been chopped. Thanks for the advice

no no dont harvest yet please dont its not ripe at all trust me. Your gonna 3-4 weeks for sure!! no less than 3 for the entire plant trust me it nowere near ready!!

If you leave you will double the yield of the plant! your ganna want most of the white hars to ture orange. 7.5 weeks is way to early for any strain. Anotherthing I have found plants flowered under cfls and floros need longer to ripen aswell. I would let it go 10 weeks of total flower time longer if you can handel it. Your yield will be way bigger the plant will be way more potent and also way more flavorful

Think about it you have been growing this plant for months now and your gonna want it to grow out the best it possibly can right? There is no point on harvesting early and ending up with crappy weed. let it go to 10 weeks you will thank me later when your toking you dank 11-12 weeks would be the best it looks sativa dom

Oh no I don't plan on harvesting now. I was planning in waiting at least another 2 weeks. I just plan on harvesting a couple times from the plant. I want to chop the main colas in about 3 weeks and then let the smaller budsites fill out for another week or two before i chop them.
