Default Perfect CFL growing thread

I was really high last night and had a thought... I want to start up a thread with the best CFL lighting/growing technique and strain to produce the best yield for growing under CFLs. As far as I know, we CFL growers are already behind the HPS growers and need to figure out the best concoction to get the best yield.

Lets put all of our tips and tricks together to get the highest yields! Whatever we come up with is what I'll try for my next grow.

I'll start. I think most people know this but using a mixed spectrum of CFLs in veg @ 70% 6500k and 30% 2700k works the best and vice versa for flowering.

Has anyone seen those RED cfl bulbs that lowes has in there christmas section? I was wondering if a person could use one along with the rest of their regular cfls when flowering?

we have no lowes over here in gb ,a good strain is thc bomb, they now do fems, produce massive buds if you lst.

grew 1 12-12 from seed under envirolites, went to 5 ounces wet, had another with lst hit 9, lods of sticky resin, all the buds were fat, def getting them now that they got fem.

I saw on ebay someone had red and blue fluoros for grow lights, I only glanced over it, but wouldn't that be cool if something like that worked? haha.
