Hello all i welcome you to OldmaryJanes 2nd grow. After being somewhat sucsesful with my first grow i new i had another one in me. First Grow - Cfl flower day one

I have always admired and thought highly of all the rubbermaid grows on here and new my next would be a RMG.


I like my setep and it was cheap but i do find it a bit suspect...My make shift ventilation actually ended up working out better then i thought it would....When i got the fan at the thrfit store it seemed smaller!!!! I was planning on creating an outtake as well but this seemed to do the trick....air escapes thru the fan...so its not a wind tunnle at all. The fan runs 18 hours a day and the lights have been staying on for 24....I get a new pair leaves every other day.....The first 5 leaver comes around the fifth set. Keeping the soil damp but not soaked, will turn to WET/DRY when more mature. Also will start nutes bout week three....useing mirical grow veg maybe once or twice then turning right to flower fert round week 4-5.

looking good so far... i will subscribe to this thread simply because i like small grows and a autoflowering grow is something i really want to keep watching... so yeah... i'm hooked... keep us updated... also... just wondering.. can you take a pik of your set-up... like top closed... i cant really figure out what you have going on withyour lights from your pictures.. thanks and stay green homie...

HA Yeah i fucking meant to too! Just when i closed my box to take a pic my dog started barking! Ill get one up tonight. Does anyone think my ventilation is risk? Also im in an unfinished basement and am worried about bugs/ moisture/etc. Any tips of the trade are welcome!

OKay got a profile pic of the grow. Also macgyverd some reflectors. More lights to come aswell, prob start of week two there will be two more cfls added preferbly 5600 k to offset the spectrum early in the grow. Then hit it with all 27's like week three or so.

I do apoligize for the shitty quality, i have been taking pics with Iphone....I will start useing digital when the plants start to get goin.

Yeah tiny for now anyway....I have a feeling I'm goin to have to stack rubbermaids to add s Ome growing space....altho these are lowryders and i plan on keep my lights tight to prevent any stretching. Mght even bend them over...Lst works wonders just not sure how lowryders react to training....

Yep exactly.....looking like im goin to try a 24 hour grow thru out.....POSS MAYBE POSS go to like 20/4 when flowering kicks off but being an auto flower who knows. As for the pc fans....i might actually pick one or two up, it doesnt sit well with me that i only have an intake and no outtake, however like i said befor my outtake is basicly thru my intake cuz there is space for air to escape....ireally need to get a temp in there cuz if anything i dont think its warm enough. Aslo CBTHUNDRED....where do you obtain your fans??? FOR CHEAP? I was thinking ebay is best option.....retail just to pricy.

Update....

Day 7 - began feedings today, only spoon feeding right now and will gradually increase. Useing VEG mirical grow 8-7-6....Will move to a flower fert in few weeks 9-35-12

yeah i agree on the exhaust... i mean, what you have is working, but it can be improved... thanks for the grow box shots... i like the reflectors alot... that is what i used for my 26watt cfl... works real nice for control of light direction... as far as your basement being moist... how moist? humidity is good for veg, but from what i have understood, moisture is not so good for flowering...if i am wrong, PLEASE correct me... anyways... looking good... are those autoflowers a 8 week or nine weeks strain?
