ok, so after reading v12xjs's topic about the pc grow box, I am now wondering if i should do 12/12 straight through. Votes are welcome!

I changed the time to 12/12 since no one came in to say anything. So the lights go out at 3 a.m and come back on at 3 p.m. That way my plants are plenty awake by the time I get home from work. I'm considering ordering some trainwreck indica seeds but i'll let you know further on that come time.

Being that today is saturday, I was productive. I uninstalled the two lights from the bottom, and put one of them on the top. so the case now has 3 lights on top. I went to home depot, and bought a pot that is identical to the one I already have, some Miracle Grow Sphagnum Peat Moss. The peat moss is slightly acidic or so I heard. Any suggestions? So I took both plants out of the pot, rolled the soil ball as not to damage the roots. (thats what killed my last outdoor grow) The root systems were both at least 7 inches long and looking beautiful. So I put them in their individual pots and put the peat moss in. I put them In the environmental unit (lol), and waited for the lights to come on. Then I watered them. I have 3 lights running for the next couple of hours, because it's cold out, and I cant find a variable resistor for the fans. Should I unplug them?

and to close this off, I am going to come up with names this weekend.

The weed that came in today was a mango strain, and it is so sticky!

yeah man.. if you are gonna keep it in that box i would go ahead and continue with the 12/12... that is what i did with mine and i managed to keep my baby alive... i will however be finishing off the grow in my micro box soon and i have decided to resort to this box as a micro reveg box after i harvest...your box looks good though... oh yeah, if it is a predominantly sativa strain you mite end up having to top... that would also double your yeild... just an idea, you can do what you want with it... it is your plant after all... and whatever you do, you will learn from it... so whatever is clever homie... research research research.... that is the best way to gain knowledge... i almost didnt even post my grow as a journal, but figured i could learn alot more form other peoples advice... feel free to ask me any advice... i am a newb at growing, but i have read months and months on the subject matter and will be finishing my first succesful grow thursday... that is when i plan on harvesting at least... i wont smoke my shit till thanksgiving though... that is when i truly complete my grow... when i pack my first cured bud... oh man... it will be so amazing... i have never smoked my own shit before... so yeah.. cant muh fuccin wait....

i dont know if i inspired this pc grow box shit, but it is taking off hella fast and it seems like micro grows are now a new trend... i fuccin love it... it doesnt matter how big the plant will be, or how much yeild you will get... because you grew it... and growing enough eighths in these small homemade boxes will pay you back for what you have spent... as long as you know the box works... keep it in service to pay you back... deuce deuce and keep it green nuccah...

lookin real good man.. i really need to get a bigger case... the depth of my box is only 3.5 inches... so i cant really mount my lights like that... but i will build a better box soon... i have one of those super small dell cases...

Well here's my super duper contribution to you. My nephew is the tech student at the local high school and he informs me that they're doing surplus right now. What that means is that they're sending all of the outdated technology to the county. Once the county receives them, they sell them for outrageously cheap prices. You can call them up and find out what they have and make some bids. My nephew has been telling me about some ancient servers that his schools is getting rid of (that's how i make my living is building servers) and these things are huge. 28x18x32 and the thing has wheels, and a million fans. He says they haven't left the school yet, but when they do, I'll let you know whats up and how much they want. He also told me that there is 2 of them and they're both from the late 90's so you know they're huge.!
