Really? It's still pretty short.. and no preflowers that i can see yet. I haven't measured but its under 6 inches tall. wouldn't that make it pretty short and not a very good yield when its done flowering?

yeah for sure im kinda in the same boat your in but my plants are about 8 inches tall and there also about 40 days into vegg, the only thing is i tried to FIM them 4 days ago and it looks like it didnt give me any new tops, it looks like it just grew back normally, yours is exactly how i want mine to be like so if you could let me in on how you cut your new growth id really appreciate it, heres a pic i took of mine today.

Hey. Well i just cut the top and left about 10-15% of the new growth. then all the secondary growths started to explode and slowly 2 new tops formed where i cut. which are now 2 of the smaller tops on it, the 3rd set are the biggest. From the look of your pics i'd suggest putting your lights closer so it doesn't stretch as much. Because mine had very tightly packed sets before i even fim'd it. so it helped turn it into a bush once the tops started to take off. Also have you used any nutes yet? because i use nutes every time i water. So really just patience, keep the lights as close as you can. and give it some nutes.

I realized i was counting from when i planted seed. not from when it sprouted. So i'm going to call today day 40 since it took 24 hours to sprout. I transplanted it today to a muccch bigger pot. And even before that she's been super healthy looking lately. Heres a few pics sorry if some are blurry or w.e. Depending on how it goes i might start flowering in 7-14 days.

hey man thanks for your help, the growth that I FIM'd grew back so that it never looks like i did anything to it. ( no new tops) so i was thinking that I would just wait until the top grows a little more and try again on the next new node. Yes I started using nutes about a week ago and Ive been giving them doses every other day. since then the plants really took off. and for the light situation. i just got these CFL bulbs so i think within a week or two it will make a big difference. Thanks again Ill post some pics later. Sweet Grow BTW your plant makes me =)

tried FIMMING again this morning. and this is what i got so far. nice progress within the lat 2 days one full new node appeared =]
