Glock... I will try to get some batteries that last longer in my video camera and I will try to post some more youtube vids soon.

Decided to crawl into my grow room and shut off the lights and check for leaks... Sure enough, in the dark I was able to see my plants and even tell what color they were... light!!!! I think I have fixed that problem, and am giving them 48 in the dark to see if I can jump start the process. (Climbed in after I "fixed" the problem couldn't see my hand in front of my face). Will post my next update on Sat round 1pm Central when the lights come back on.

wow! not good, but nice work detective. in a couple of weeks u might wanna check ur plants for hermis due to the fucked up light situation. but u now know that room is good for grows incase these ones fuck up. any new pics?

Here are some pics... and guess what... where one of the limbs are growing... there is one single speck and it is already on the secondary growth, so I think that it is the first signs of sex. They have enough water so I am giong to leave them alone for a few days and we shall see... btw it really is starting to stink when I open the door.

Time for an update... I have decided to top to keep them short and to keep my light low. I also noticed that the nodes are alternating today. Does that mean that I should start to see signs of sex soon? They are still no a 12/12 cycle. I believe that the light that was leaking in was keeping them from flowering. I hope that I have not ruined this set of plants. I have also reduced the numbers by 4 plants. I now have only three left and maybe only have 2 left in a week. I am going to putting up some more pictures Friday so that everyone can see what progress they are making. Glock, I got to see your babies, and they look great. I hope that I can have something like that really soon. Well good day to all and keep watching for the updates!

Great news... I have found a 400w HPS for $50. I am going to be replacing my cfl's and see if that will help with the flowering. As of yet nothing, however I did notice another spot that hopefully will tell me if it is female or male. So some progress. Pics tomorrow. I don't remember if I said it or not, but I took all the big leaves off so that the light could get to the secondary growth. My new question is this, should I completely remove the cfl's or just change my configuration of them adding the HPS? Temps are already at around 80, but no bugs so I assume that I am ok with that. I am also going to be looking for a cheap fan (since the warm season is over might find one for a song.)

much improvement since i last stopped by. how old are them plants? how far away are the lights from the plant. when are u going to flower and where the hell did u find a 400whps for 50 bucks?!?!?

Well, lets take this piece by piece....

Q1. They are only 5 1/2 weeks since they broke the soil.

Q2. Lights are approximatly, on average 2-3 inches, sometime time/places closer.

Q3. Well, they have been on a steady 12/12 uninterupted for about 5 days since the Dark 48 hours.

Q4. Craigslist.org is where I found the HPS for $50. ( just did a search on CL.ORG and that is what I got.)

I am hopeing that I am seeing more signs of sex... if you notice in the fifth pic, I think I see a tell tale sign of preflowering. I was trying to get a better pic in the third pic, but as you can see, it is blurry as hell. ( I am not a professoinal photographer. You got any suggestions Glock? Or anyone for that matter.
