Hey guys and girls, I want to add a veg box to my set-up. I presently have a homebox s with a 400 hps that I grow in. I just ordered a growlab thats 16inch x 16inch x 3ft 11 inch tall. that I want to use to start seeds and veg for a couple weeks. What cfl should I buy for a box of that small size?? I have read everything and researched but Im still a little confused. I dont want to buy the wrong ones. Please someone with cfl know-how tell me what size/watt cfl to put in such a small box. Again, Im only vegging in it. I ordered a small cfl fixture that should be coming with the growlab and have a couple of those reflector clamp things too... just dont know which bulb or bulbs to buy. Could one cfl bulb do the job? Thank you kindly

I'd put in at least 3 23w (and 3 42s if they fit) 2 6500k and one 2700k.

Thank you for answering my question Illegal Smile, Im sorry for my delay in responding. Busy at work lately. Anyway, so you would get (3) 23 watt bulbs, two 6500k and one 2700k? could i get those at home depot? Is there any cfl wattage thats higher so I could only have like one or two bulbs? Sorry to be a pain, I just have absolutely no idea about using cfls... I just want a little veg box nothing to flower in

The way i see it you want to use more lower watt bulbs 23-25w so that you can get a better light coverage.

Less lights = less light coverage. So with more smaller watt lights you can position them everywhere and hopefully provide more even light over the grow space.
