Default flowering for 3 weeks. can i switch it back to 18/6

what up. i am flowering two seeds in a mini fridge. they have been on 12/12 for 3 weeks and they showed there sex on day 4 and day 7 under a warm 42w. i am wondering if switching to 18/6 would stress them to much. this is my first grow

i take clones from my flowering girls n revert them back to veg n all works out well

They simply respond to the changing light cycles... so yes, you can safely switch them back to veg. I used to do that a lot and never had a problem Its always good to work with stable genetics though.
