so im doing a cfl grow and i built that thing from the buds for less book....he talks about how he uses reflectors ussually... i was wondering if anybody knew what reflectors work the best with those "Y" shapped socket splitters

Home Depot and Lowes sell the bigger reflectors.

I made my own using a clamp, cardboard i painted to get a curve in it
(wetting it would do the same thing) and mylar. I also taped a section
of a crystal light container behind each light ballast to keep the lights off the reflector.

CFLs work better from the side anyways so i dont use those funnel looking ones.

i made my reflectors with cardboard and aluminum foil. just take a look at some of the reflectors online and mimic something like those. you could use pretty much anything that reflects light. you could go to the harware store. pick up some cheap plastic tube. like maybe some pvc pipe. cut it down the middle so it looks like a U shape from the side and put mylar or aluminum foil in it. and than mount the lights in there with tape or drill holes in the pvc and use zip ties or string. you'll figure it out. hope this helped! good luck dude!
