Wen yur seedlings sprout from the dirt...the amount of light you have in your grow area will determine the speed of growth or do some strains just grow slower?

when the lights are too far away from the plants, they will stretch to try and reach that light.

I keep my lights 2-3 inches away (CFL's), so they don't burn but get enough light.

Like everybody said friend, they are dangerously deprived of light. Get those things within 2' of those leaves. And the strain does play a major roll in the height of the plant, just not in this case. What lights are you using?
