Here's a fixture I made just tonight.I'm getting all of my stuff ready and ordering my seeds monday.I'm using 8 100W CFL's and I'm thinking about going buy a vanity fixture tomorrow.

Will this be a decent grow setup or should I try to find bigger CFL's?

Bulbs touching...not a good idea.

I know I took 1 off and I'm going to put it in one of those round reflectors!Now I just have 3 y's on it

Can never Have to many extra sockets on hand I found out. Always try and have a handful! Reflectors too!

I already have a reflector I made.its one of those metal ducts they sell at home depot.I'm going to hang it over my light fixture

later down the line when i'm ready to flower will all of the 6700K bulbs have to be switched to2700K or just some?

a 3-1 ration or 2-1 ration is always the best idea. you still want some blue light but you want mostly red

I recently went to my local hardware store (ACE) and bought 2 18", 15 Watt tubes one with a red spectrum, and one with a daylight, 3 budding 26 Watt Cfls's and 3 20 watt vegging 5000k cfls, they work great im vegging them right now.
