Default Growspace input...
Hey guys, I am currently using a cabinet with exactly 1.2ft squared of space where im WILLING to grow. I plan to use this cabinet only for flowering clones. I was just curious ... if I wanted to do one plant and use a screen of green setup, could I flower it well with two 68w CFL's at 4200 lumens, and 1 42 watt and 2600 lumens? I'd probably add some daylight bulbs in too, most likely a 42w; if I have enough cash a UVB bulb would be nice too. Assuming I'm using soil as my medium, and I have mylar'd the entire grow space, is it possible to yield an ounce or more with my current setup?

Thanks for the input.

If this is your first grow i doubt your going to get a ounce....but anything is possible , and i think you mean the sea of green method. Just make sure that your bulbs are the red color spectrum for flowering.....and i reallly dont feel like doing math right at the moment but if you look into your grow room and you have to squint cause your eyes hurt you should have enough light..lol

I have done a 150w HPS in a 5 gallon bucket, but I did very little training. Would I yield more using a net, or LST'ing, or perhaps both? I am just trying to get as much bud as possible off a plant with height restrictions. The strain is mostly sativa unfortunately... Thanks again!

your bulb list adds up to well over 10000 lumens per square foot(if you count the daylight bulb)
temp may become a problem, extra vent may handle it
i just harvested 35g under 78w of cfls(3 26w) - it was a nl#5 which is a good yielder

What sort of training did you use? LST? Any sort of screen to brace / support the colas? Any suggestions of what works well?

didn't train, built a tube - 38 by 15 inches - all white inside
though the tube did train the plant to some extent - got to 29 inches - nl#5 is real squat

i would use the LST technique , i just tie the main branch down then top it once then let it grow for a couple of weeks and all the small shoots will become (heads) ....then i top once more and keep bending the heads and those shoots of heads became heads and so on..... no one can say this isnt a good idea because i LST ' ed my Willy Jack's NL indoors then un tied and put outside and this is her........(over a month ago)

Looks real good! I'm thinking about doing something like this ... http://forum.grasscity.com/advanced-...-tutorial.html

BUT, I would also like to put chicken wire in there to get a relatively even canopy, and to support the weight of the bud. Any input? Thanks again!
