so this 4 light bathroom vanity fixture from walmart

it says it requires G 25 medium base light bulbs can i put 55W CFL's in there to use to grow? it says 60 w max so thats all good, im just curious about the bulb type...please help!

if anyone can provide a link on how to wire it to an ext. cord to plug into my socket that would be great too!

be careful wiring that, dont have exposed wiring. get a wire stripper and the right gauge wire nuts for the wire. I recommend running running 12/2 for that. your local home depot electrician will help you with all you need. as far as lighting is concerned, just get a lower than 60 w cfl. it will do good

what i really want is (2) 5-bulb fixtures, 55W CFL's (x10) from 1000bulbs.com for flowerings and 30W for mothers and clones...x6

I wouldnt use that.

you will be better off buying cleat sockets and making your own light fixture. this way you can customize the size/shape/ and design.

dont forget that cfls must be very close to the plant. you will need to change positions of the bulbs constantly like every 3 days or so.

cleat sockets and some y splitters and some lamp wire you are good to go. if you need help wiring it let me know.
