i think i know the answer to this, i had a coffee can filled with potting soil and i threw in a hand full of seeds, so now there is about 10 plants growing out of it can they all grow? Or what will happen if i leave them all in there?

all the root systems will become intangled if you can separate them do it fast and if you have to cut then apart at the roots give them rooting hormones in there new pots

Not the smartest thing you've ever done man... as previously stated, get some pots and soil, transplant them individually, and hope to your higher power that the roots are salvagable once you untangle them, so-to-speak.

metal containers arent really good to grow in because they rust. . . get square pots too. . . good luck my friend!
