Hello, my lowryder seeds are on the way (5 feminized) and i'm very excited to grow these in my closet in an enclosed box type of thing.. I want to grow 3 plants in 2gal pots. I dont have a lot of money to throw on an HPS light, so iw ant to go strictly CFLs. .. I have a walmart and home depot in my vicinity.. I am weary about ordering things offline because I do not want to wait! I want to get things moving as soon as my seeds come.. If anyone can help me out with what would be my best setup for getting the best bud out of LowRyders & CFL

top and lst the 3 lowriders to maximize yield in small space, i would get like 7 42watt 6500k and 3 42watt 2700k, and the last 2 lowrider fem you should veg long and get bunch of clones of them both and then lst and 12/12 the clones...all but enough to regrow and clone again

sounds interesting, but I Heard you cant LST or CLONE Lowryders... is this true? Will those lights be sufficent for a closet enclosed space? Can I get all of those from walmart/home depot?

what ever you do, don't listen to thelastjuror. he obviously has no knowledge of autoflowering strains.

I WOULD NOT TOP THEM,
YOU CAN LST THEM BUT REALLY WITH CFL'S THERE NOT GOING GET VERY BIG.
CLONING LOWRYDERS IS ALOT HARDER THAN A PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN & THERE IS NO POINT TO CLONE THEM.
LIGHT CYCLES: YOU CAN LEAVE THEM ON A 24 HOUR LIGHT CYCLE FROM SEED TO HARVEST, BUT BREEDERS SAY 18-20 HOUR LIGHT CYCLES.
DO SOME RESEARCH ON LOWRYDERS FIRST, THERE ARE ALOT OF COMPLETED JOURNALS, YOU JUST GOT TO SEARCH

EDIT:you can get your lights from wally-world or home depot,
your going to need soft white(2700K) but gets some daylight bulbs(6500K) also,
a 4-1 ratio becouse the LR's spend 75% of it's life in flowering

for sure dude , i am scoob on this one . cloning the lowryder is practicly impossible and that whole 12/12 light thing is not really a great idea.

I'll throw my input in:

I had grown 3 LR's in april with (6) 26watt cfl's/20 hour light cycle &
ended up with 1 female. sadly I only got a 6 gram bud.
IMO- get as many light as possible without creating a heat problem.
As for the cloning thing---people will tell you they can't be cloned, but
if you have bushy pheno type, you can. If your plant is basiclly a stalk there's no way.
but as scooby & lemon said it's really diffucult and not even worth it.

I have a LR sprout that is 1 day old right now I'm not sure if I'm going to do a journal
becouse I'll just get laughed at when I end up with another 6 gram bud

I agree with scooby. I have grown autoflowers and always lit them 24/7 but either is ok.
