Default CFL For Flowering. Question. Kinda urgent.
my plant is getting too tall and the stalk is too strong for me to try to LST at this point so I wanna move it into the veg room now since it's growing into my lights. so I was wondering about the lighting.

if I were to buy the 42watt CFL bulbs, the big ones, then how many of those would I need for flowering? keep in mind I'll be flowering inside of a mini refridgerator most likely, a small space.

maybe 3 feet high and probably like 2 feet in width. this is only gonna be a flowering station for one plant at a time.

so how many of those 42watt bulbs would I need, and if I were to try to flower to plants at one time how many would I need? in the same space.

these are the bulbs.

which one of those two would be better for flowering?

any help is appreciated, thanks.

well i couldnt read the kelvins on the first bulb but for flowering you want the lower end of the spectrum. around 2700k. if ya wanna know when you get bulbs that have say for example 6500k those numbers mean its closer to the blue side of the spectrum and is used for veggie and if you go the other way say around 2700k its at the red end of the spectrum for flowering. so my advice is use one descent bulb (the first one you showed) and get some 23 watt bulbs which is 2700k which helps with flower mode

depends on how much room... i just got some frm walmart, i use 2 42 watt and 2 23 watts soft whites for 2 plants, in a mini grow box, it's about 8 inches wide and a little over a foot long and about 3ft tall...... check the lumens, my lights emit 2700 a piece for the 42 watts and 1700 a piece for the other ones... ends up being a little over 5000 lumens per sqr foot and they seem to be doing alright... peace!!

one of my sft whites is the one in the first link.... peace!

For one plant 4 42s might be ok but 6 would be much better. If 6 you want 4 of them to be 2700 and 2 6500.

2700k is the spectrum most used in flowering, it represents the change in the suns lighting abilities at the end of the season.
