Lightbulb cfl flowering lighting idea
I thought to make a new cfl lighting system with 10 to 12 - 23 watt cfl and 1 or 2 - big 300watt cfl. how does this sould like its going to work. im working in a 4ft wide, 3ft deep, 6.5ft tall room?? i only do 4 plants at a time. Is this enough mixed lighting?

Sounds good, with the proper mix of Vegetative(6500k) and flowering(2700k) bulbs. You should be able to get some good coverage with those. Also, if you need some cheap do it yourself reflectors, try some pop or beer cans. They work great!!

I do four plants at a time and I use all 42w. I use 6 or 7 for veg and as many as 10 for flower. I find them easy to move around and position and mix spectrum. I usually put 2 of them in a large clamp reflector. I also think they are the best dollar value, I've been buying them from amazon.
