So due to interest, Ive decide to start a thread on this plant. As of today its on its 3rd day above ground and is growing strong along with 2 other sprouts. It has just recently started to show 3 more leaves coming out of the top so now I am sure that it will be 3 branches at every node. (Which should mean 33% more yield).
Here is what Ive found out so far...

Having a triploid plant is actually rather beneficial because the extra set of chromosomes causes cells to become larger in response to the mutation (autopolyploidy). Because of this flowers and fruits of plants become larger in size, meaning if you have a triploid plant on your hands you are rather lucky because the resin glands on the flowers will be larger, as will the flower itself.

trifoliate
Having leaves in threes. (I have)

trifoliolate
Having three leaflets. (I have)

trifurcate
With three branches arising from the same spot. (I see it starting)

triploid
Having three sets of chromosomes. (Why this happens)

Im curious as to what you all think and if anyone has experience with this type of plant. Im open to all info so feel free to drop some lines.

I had a seedling with three cotyledon, but it never seemed to do very well. Maybe the mutation can cause other problems?

From what Ive read this is a hybrid trait used to increase growth potential in plants, such as wheat, corn, and marijuana, just to name a few. Its supposed to increase everything about the plant, giving it the leg up on other plants so that it can become the dominant strain. Ive been reading a lot of scientific jargon, a 1/4 of which I can barely understand without referencing a dictionary, but from everything I gathered either this seed has come from genetics that had been manipulated at some point in its ancestry or it happened on its own. Its also supposedly a trait of the Kush strain, but I havent found anything to verify that with other than the fact that these seeds were supposed to be Kush seeds. Or so I was told. lol.
Maybe there was a deficiency with your plant or something, or its chromosomes were just too fucked up. Im not sure, but mine seems to be coming along nicely. It was the first seed to crack, first to pop soil and first to start the second leaflet growth, as well as being just a tad bit taller than the other two at the moment.

i do love mutation. i myself am working with 2 that both started having corkscrew leaves (leftover emergency hybrid of white rhino+mystery mexican indica, after a deer ate my seed branch).

plant A came up fast and grew to 1 inch in no time, plant B started slow and took over a week to reach 1 inch.

plant A developed second and third leaves in half the time of plant B.

at the end of week 2

plant A slowed to a crawl, and plant B was over an inch taller.

plant A shows no further sign of leaf abnormality (other than being an exceptionaly broad leafed strain), plant B's second set of true fan leaves came in with 13 leaves extra ones in back and on bottom. 3rd and forth sets also came with extra leaves in odd locations.

now at about week 5 plant A is about 5 inches tall, very tightly spaced nodes, almost no branch extension, and seem to be growing packed like a Thai stick, and other than the fact it seems to be some kind of dwarf bonsia slow growing MF. it looks very nice and am interested in what its gonna do in about 4 months when it reaches 8 inches

plant B is about 12 inches now, lots of branch extension, and is presenting with sativa like characteristics

both used same soil same lighting same water same fert.

but u never can tell what a mutant is going to do. if i get the time ill do some crossing of the slow grow with a few other strains, i really like the potential of its densely packed nodes (they hug the stem and themselves have very densly packed sub nodes) and if i can breed out the slow grow trait i think its got good potential as an indoor only strain. friend of mine just got back, and brought me some Afghani #1, im gonna see what it does to the strain

Sorry for the neglect of my thread today everyone. Ive come into some very good news, drum roll please.....
Im most likely going to be being designated as a primary caregiver, which will allow me to grow 12 plants legally and posses up to 2.5 oz's per patient!! This has me really stoked. I can only compare it to that feeling one would get as a child, when they actually believed in Santa!! Its almost as if all my prayers have been answered! So close, I dont want to jinx myself so I will shut up now.
