Why hello there RIU!

If you're here, odds are good you followed the links from my other threads to lead you here.. If not, checking out a bit of each of these will give you a little insight.

The Space: Stealth Cabinet Blueprint

The Genetics: The Shack's O.D. Baby

Oh and a little of this..

The Space in Action: The Shack's AeroGrow

Here is the rundown..

The Genetics: G13 Quicksilver Auto-Fem (freebie seed from an Attitude order) Seed cracked and went into a jiffy pellet July 23, so this is 3 weeks from crack/seed

The Soil: Presently Scott's moisture control (started in jiffy pellet) Ultimately MG Organic Choice Potting Soil (which is why I don't plan to use too many nutes or ferts.. that will be the ONLY time I abbreviate either word... ferts...ehghhrhhghh )

The Nutrients: Little to none, if needed GH Flora Nova series, with a bit of Floralicious, a spot of SuperThrive early on for root development.. thats about it.

The Water: This is important to me.. as i think most growers over think this, i will NOT be checking pH before adding to soil or the runoff. I have a suspicion that most growers run into problems with they too closely focus upon the pH and the ppm and everything else. Given that it is soil I expect/plan/hope to be less concerned with these issues... if I do run into problems... I'll change things up.

Lighting: ALL CFL Various wattages, check the threads for more specifics on watts and lumens.. I'll say this, quite a few. OOH! Also it is an autoflower, I've heard 24/0 and 20/4, I can't find ANYTHING about Quicksilver and light schedules... so I'm going 24/0 for the time being just to get this girl growing. Until I hear otherwise, and from a knowledgeable voice, I'll keep it that way.

the cabinet may have cooked the little lady.. checked her this morning and it was toasty in there. touched one of the leaves and it snapped in half haha.

took it out, misted it with a spray bottle, she is hydrated again, and under a lamp outside the cab until i work out the heat issue.

she seems alive still.. lets hope she doesnt end up stunted by this and stops growing.

yeah im pretty sure its dead.. haha. was hoping this one would grow out. long story short, my brother is going through some shit.. this is pretty anonymous so i don't mind sharing, but i'm not asking for pity. he started this seedling and it was sort of "our" plant i guess. i find out yesterday my brother is an addict, if there is no pills, its weed, if there is no weed, its alcohol.. so on.. so forth..

i've never experienced ANYTHING like this, so its really rough for me.. after finding this out yesterday, today its rehad.. he'll be gone in a week and i had looked forward to this grow, as sort of my therapy while he is gone. i'll never truly understand how or why his brain is wired in such a way that he got this way, and how for me cannabis is almost a sacrament or a therapeutic medicine.

that's all i have to say about that, really needed to put that into words.

the cabinet is still there and i still have other seeds i've been wanting to grow out (probably the lemon skunk).. after a few cabinet mods to control temps we'll be underway. i'm going to wait for my closet grow to finish so i'm not spreading myself all over the place. but keep checking in for discussion about the grow and anything else.

Sup Shack! hey man I followed your other grow but really had nothing to chime in with, but I can say a week will do alot to clear his head and hopefully he'll see some kind of light and self reflection.

Looking forward to seeing your soil grow, I am currently growing in soil and have no set feeding, just seeing what they need and giving it to em!
