Alright..Time to start a grow journal for the hell of it.

I'm an outdoor planter, but decided to try indoor in my new place.

I have:

Custom Grow Box - 18"Deep x 36" High x 30" Long
8x23W 6500K CFL's
4x23W 2700k CFL's (for now)


So..One of my outdoor plants was doing pretty bad, so I decided to dig her up and bring her inside. The strain is Strawberry.

The Inside


Here's her new home for the next few months.



Now, she was outside for the past month in pretty harsh weather. We had A LOT of rain, even hail, and not many sunny days. All the other plants are doing a little better than her. That's why I decided to bring her in. Thought it would be a fun experiment. It still looks pretty good.


Close-up (I think those are pistils so it should be a she). I think she was in her first week of flowering outside.

Now that's it for her. Will keep weekly updates. I put her in flowering on a 12/12 cycle with 4 23W 2700k CFL's for a total of 92W.....is that enough? or should i add 2 more? I was also thinking of building a reflector.


CLONES:

I took 6 clones from the biggest outdoor strawberries. They were looking huge..about 4 feet high and 3 feet wide with about 15 set of leaves.

I'm new to cloning, but i thought i'd give it a shot.

I bought a dome, some rooting hormone, razor blade and jiffy pellets.


Here they are in the dome under 2x23W 6500k CFL's in my roomies dresser.


5 of them. Currently on day 3 of cloning. Still looking nice and crisp.




And 1 last thing.

My roomie has a 10 seeds that he planting in some random soil. 1 sprouted (Top 44).
And I think it's not gonna live. This is day 9 after sprout and its not advancing at all. Should I trash it?



It's got stretching, yellow leaves and hasn't grown in a few days...

New family additions.

Got 2 more strawberries and 1 Freezeline.

The Freezeline is the really short one - about 8 inches high and already in about week 3 of flowering. The odor is real strong. Kind of cheesy and musky.

Transplanted them all in 8" pots with a mix of 75% coco coir and 25% potting soil.
They are currently getting a half serving of UltraBloom about 2x per week.

Not looking too bad, Id say that your little one has been over watered. Maybe. Just give it a little while and see. Let the soil get nice and dry. Just a guess.
How often was it being watered?

how long did you veg them

They were all vegged the same amount of time. About 1 month. They were outside at first and got overwatered like crazy so they got stunted.

Those were the smallest ones that we brought inside.

go to dollar store and buy a allum turky pan 4$ and it works great with the spliter cut a little hole in middle dead center of pan and screw your lights through the hole into your socket works great for a reflector and cheap. just a tip nice plants.

nice tip coolio, just curious though they say not to use aluminum foil isn't this pretty much the same idea though??? I could be way out of line.....
