OK, so now that I have your attention, here's a little about my ghetto grow...

My main problem is high temps & lack of ventilation. The only place I can grow is in the back corner of my garage. There are no windows and no central air. I live in the Dirty South & it is H O T....plant level temps have been ranging 86-95 and would easily be over 100 if I wasn't using fans.

My grow space is 2'x3'x5', walls are lined with mylar, have 6 42 watt cfls in this space, growing 3 plants (1 each of Greenhouse cheese, purple lady & Super Lemon Haze). Originally I was using only 3 cfls & had the area all enclosed with the only opening a 6"x12" opening in the top right of the area which opens up into the garage. I had a 8" fan on the bottom blowing on the lights & a small massey fan at the top blowing towards the opening. When I added the additional 3 cfls temps went up approx 5 degrees, so now what I have done is removed one of the walls and have a box fan blowing directly on the plants and lights and still the small fan at the top. Right now I can only have the box fan on 1 of 3 strength because settings 2 & 3 beat the hell out of the small plants (only 11 days old)

So with my grow against the wall (literally) any suggestions on the temperature control? How should I place my fans around/within this space, I have the box fan, the little guy & the 8" Holmes. Can a small plant get too much wind? I know turning box fan up will help eventually, but the little ladies just look too fragile to have any more direct air. Right now I am in veg stage & have lights on 24-7....Once I go into flower I am going to run lights at night and I know this will help temps as well. I just know that I am so far from desired temp range that I am worried I won't make it that far.

My other concern is ventilation. Like I said no windows. Right now there is no odor, so I have been trying to open the garage door for 1-2 hours a day to try and get some kind of fresh air to the plants, but am not sure if this is doing any good, anyone know? When opening the garage door, should I have a fan blowing air in? or out?

Well I think I have exhausted my 100 question limit, I truly appreciate any help solving these temp/ventilation issues.
