Just wanted to toss out a quick update, it's past wee k 3 of flowering now and I am going to have to say that I am exceptionally impressed by how dense all the pistils look whilst growing out. Only a couple more weeks!!!

AK48 needs around 55 days to finish. Don't pull her too early...it's never worth it. But congrats on your girl! I have a ak48 in flower myself. (my 2nd ak48 grow) She is only 14 days into flower though.

I thought it was called ak-48 cause it finished in 48? What'd you notice about it when you hit the 55th day? Is there a huge diff? This is my first ak-48 grow btw. What should I look for to know when it's finished?

I'll post updated pics of it later, lots of white hairs everywhere now, all the colas have them.

P.S. I walked into my room today after class and my room reaks of a sweet odour, not sure if its my bong hits from last night or the bitch that's tied down in the closet.

Oh yeah, I also read something on these forums about a rodolization process for fem seeds, do you think I should leave like a single lower branch to stress for the pollen? Cause then I could cross it with another seed all together and get some fem seeds. Or should I just worry bout that some other time?

These pics were taken just a couple days ago, but even now, just a couple days later, the colas are starting to pack with bud. I'm so freakin excited to see it grow grow growwwwww.

Does anyone know where to get like, cheap 250 watt cfl's with the overhead reflectors? I'm trying to get two of each spectrum for my next grow.

Here's another update:

The white hairs have turned to a slight orange brownish color. I forget the stages that the pistils change through, I think it's like, white to orange, red and brown when it's done? Can anyone let me know? I think 2 more weeks and this girl should be ready to cut up. I'm gunna try to get a higher resolution camera other than my BB to show you guys the crystals on the leaves and the color of the pistils and whatnot.

Oh, and my dumb ass forgot to water it last week and it got all wilted. But I watered it and she surprisingly bounced right back within like 20 minutes.
