This is my 2nd attempt at growing, First attempt was some bullshit.. Parents ended up going to the nascar race in Michigan in june, Well before they went they decided to make sure I had everything off in my room becuase I'm rarely home, Well they took my plant and everything.... So here is my 2nd attempt, Its so unprofessional and noobie like.. I need idea's on lighting and stuff, right now I have 5-6 sprouts the two nicest in single containers and the others in one container, ( Don't really care about them. ) I'm using 2 100w 6500K daylight bulbs with a '4 fan to cool the place down.. I have a 15min interval switch and running it 18/6. its bag seed btw. I need to know how many lights i should use and which lights are best ( I like the CFLs so i wanna stay in that range ).. Heres what i got so far. ( kinda hard to see ) (not to mention, Everything is jerry rigged <.< tired of wasting money to just get my crop taken)

good setup but next time make sure each plant gets its own pot. you'll have too many plants fighting for lights, water, nutrients ect

if you live in your parents house and they don't approve of you growing, i think it's pretty disrespectful for you to continue growing.

Its more or less my stepdad, ( He's a fucking prick ). Its only been 7 days since i popped the seeds into the dirt. so far so good, What nutrients would you guys recomend and should i add more lights? I know its suppose to be 1200lumens per plant and i think each bulb produces 2400-2600.

yep, plus the root could get entangled with the other plants roots. And thats when shit hits the fan son!!

Here is an update, Nutes killed the last batch, Here is a 6 day old sprout running 18/6 2 100w eqv cfl daylight 6500k and 2 60w eqv cfl daylight 5500k. other lights got it to hot.. advice on nutes lights and such +rep ( 2 week old outdoor but transplanting inside soon bag seed )

See, the thing is, if you get knocked for some crazy reason, it could bite them in the ass. Thats probably why he doesnt want that going down in his crib. Know what I mean. But youre gonna do what youre gonna do.
Anyhow, your lights are good, more than enough to produce some good buds. Id have to say dont plant seeds in the same container anymore tho, unless you use something like a big floor tote or footlocker.

I moved outta my rents house and got an apartment.. its a two story house with the bottom and top, I have the top my neighbors below me are good friends that smoke too. Just giving it another shot, I'm looking to grow a nice two - three plant for personal use nothing too major. I will keep the pic's updated, should i run it 20/4 or 18/6

If you're not using potting soil, you should think about it.
Sprouts do not need nutes.
Those lights should get you started.
I have a 12" lavender kush clone vegging under 4x26w cfls 10" tall and bushing up nice. (topped, super cropped, and lst) 6-8 colas so far.
You'll need to add more as they grow/flower.
Surround your plants with lights is ideal. Top, middle, sides, bottom...
They should make mini strings of cfls so you could wrap your plants like a christmas tree.

Just an update, I took your advice with the lights and maybe this is better? I'm using mg soil 50/50 perlite and peat moss mixture... suppose to feed up to 90 days... Hope this light setup is better for it. ( still running 18/6 )
