I have heard for farm is a great soil, and I have a read a few grow journals saying they didnt use nutrients.
Iam doing scrog with CFLs, If I just use fox farm soil with no nutrients or very very little nutrients added will this be ok? |

FF only has enough fertilizer in it for about a month or maybe a bit more. It takes longer than that to grow a plant.

After about 3-4 weeks, the plant'll eat up most of the nutrients in the soil. I recommend you add mollasses now and then, its very benificial, espicially 4th or 5th week of flowering. It's not nessessary but it will swell up the buds decently, give it a sweeter taste, its not gonna cost you much (mabe $2) , and its all organic! Just a thought

If you first plant in a very small cup, and as months go by you transplant from a small pot into bigger pots. Each time you transplant into a bigger pot, you would add more new fox farm soil. This way through out your grow your plant has some nutrients to feed on. |

Some people grow in soil and then transplant into DWC buckets. They remove all the dirt from the roots carefully and then put them into net pots.
If I did a transplant from soil to soil, Iam guessing that if I remove a lot of the old soil off the roots, and then planted into a new pot with fresh fox farm soil, the new fox farm soil will provide nutrients for my plant. |
