How many watts for two plants in a 12 x 12 area?

I'm planning on force flowering soon and I'm having trouble figuring out how many watts for my two plants will be needed. The biggest one is in a 12 x 12 area and the smaller one is in a 8 x 8. I plan on using CFL bulbs to flower on a 12/12 light cycle. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
