So I am going to be building a mother/clone chamber soon, and i am going to do some cfl for the lighting, couple reasons, cheaper, cooler, and they can be closer to the plants.

My question is how many and what kind should i get. Links to specific lights would be great, it will only be used for veg, i have 2 hps lights for my flowering room already.

My dimensions are going to be 2 feet deep, 6-8 feet wide and about 5-6 feet high. Cost is an issue but not a big one. i have some few hundreds of bucks that i can work with, i was going to do 2 250w mh, so i tihnk that just about anything i do with cfls should be cheaper.

Also wondering if i should make said lights adjustable in this setup or if i permanantly attach to the top of the box?

I was thinking about getting some of these reflectors from the home depot, they are like 6" aluminum things

With the space that you are looking to use, it would suite you better to just go with the MH imho. CFLs take the advantage in small, compact grow areas. If you have the means for the MH, it will save you *alot* of hassle to simply go that route.

Not much over $200 I think for the package. I'd also add a few 2700k smaller sidelights. Now at $250.
