Okay so I have been all over on growing I for sure want to switch to indoors im looking to use a closet space 15sq ft I want to use CFL's. How many would I need for about 4 plants? Or is there some formula to figure this out? Any help?

u usually want about 8000 lumens per sq ft. so just multiply that by the amount of square feet u have..

You can manipulate the size of the plant whith the size of the pot you grow it in and the time you let it veg.

If you keep them small 4 42 actual watts should be plenty. But you would not use the whole 15 sq ft.

I was thinking of getting like 10 bulbs Each of the 2700k and 6500k. Also the closet space is at least 5foot high.

no offense but it looks like your biting off more than you can chew, get like 2-4 1000w hps instead of cfls, your yield will be pitiful compared to what hps would do. the main reason people use cfls is cuz of heat and space issues, which you dont appear to have,

wow, 2-4 1000W hps in 15sq feet of space.
you can sit in there and inhale the smoke as they burn up
