i kno that low wattage cfl's dont put out any noticeable heat but do u guys think that using 1-2 of either the 150 or 200w cfl's will produce enough heat that it may become a problem when growing in a GrowLab60 (2' x 2' x 5'3"

i use 150 watt cfls and i dont notice that they put out much more heat than 75 watts. i'd go for it

wats ur setup look like?


i might go for 10 30w cfl's in the 2700k and 6400k in five parabolic reflectors with y splitters for each veg and flower cause it seems the most cost effective and i wont have to worry about them burning out really cause ill have 9 others

basically i just cover ever angle of the plants with a high lumen output cfl. lots and lots of cfls basically, lol

i have 4 26w cfls going along with my 150w HPS n the heat level is not too bad. stays round 70f to 83f on warmer daze///

I have 2-250watt 2700k bulbs and they arent that hot, you can touch them for about 1 second before your hand gets hot so not that much heat at all
