ok so this is my first grow, growin some g13 haze, its turning out decent considering im newbie to growin reefer n this strain can be difficult or so ive heard. i want to have a sog. so i have a metal halid ballast with a hps bulb and my mothers flowering 2nd week. my clones are lookin decent started with 8 still have 8 but some looking better than others prolly end up with 6 im hoping. so i wondering should i buy another mh or hps kit to veg these little ladies, im keepin a mother to veg longer so i can take cuttings but for $$ i dnt want to run a 400watt mh for one plant. i also want to bush the clones up as fast as possible. so do i get a shit load of clfs and turn a bunch of them off when i veg the rest n keep jus enough lumens to fatten the mother up or do i buy a 400mh to veg and a 200watt clf jus for the mom?? money is jus a problem when its on my utilities bill i dnt want to show spikes in consumption.

Do Not worry about the bill looking odd. It wont look odd to them. Ya hang 14 1000 watters and it may attract attention. You need to clarify the rest of your post. Don't understand you.

my mh ballast is currently flowering, i have cuttings 2nd week under a small t12 flour, but i want to veg these cuttings once there rooted to bush they up before i put them in the 12/12 room. soooo my question is should i get a another 400watt mh to veg or should i use abunch of cfls. im not sure how many lumens clfs put out and im thinking watts is watts on ur utility bill so if the clfs put out more lumens for less cash on my bill that would make the most sense. but i know 400 watt mh wrks rilly well. also im going to keep a clone and veg it reel big so i can take cuttings from it and start the 3rd generation but its stupid to run a 400watt mh for one friggin plant. so i was thinking again about clf's. what do other sog gardeners use? i thought about straight to flower but i want maximum yeilds from each plant as possible
