I have a 400W in a grow tent, but i've got some seeds I would like to get started for a few weeks before I throw them in the tent (currently flowering, 50 days out from harvest)


I would just like to get 5-6 seeds going on my counter and have an old round light hood from an old chameleon cage.

Can I use 1 single CFL to get these going on my kitchen counter?

also, I have an old flouresent (T5 I think) housing from another reptile cage. Would this be better for me to use? I just want to save some time
