Decided to post some pictures of my CFL SCROG. My first harvest sucked, it was all seeded bud. It seeded early so not much bud was actually produced. I had 3 clones from my original grow and stuck them into flower 41 days ago - This is my first CFL grow so any advice would be much welcomed!

Lighting (10 CFL / 310w)
-3x26w 3500k
-3x26w 2700k
-4x40w 2700k

SCROG Material
-Nylon Twine (2" grid)
-PVC Pipe

The pictures are from today at 41 Days Flowering. I'll post sequential pictures from start to current if anyone is interested

what kind of screws did you use with your PVC pipes?

Did you cut off all of the bud sites below the screen?

Well looks like you have some nice buds coming. Do you have any of those CFls underneath, looks pretty dark under your grid. Or do you not need under-lighting with Scrog?
What's DIY Scrog, is that just bending?

Scrog is screen of green. You remove everything below the screen. The buds on top will form an even canopy so you can get the most out of your lighting. Here is a link: http://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=...category&id=71

I took a clone and used Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas and put it under the screen. The 4 main colas grow super quick during the flowering explosion experienced in the first 2 weeks of flowering. I just kept training them so that any internodes where bud's would grow would be facing up towards the light. In retrospect, I should have placed the plant under the center of the screen and let each of the 4 cola branches stretch to the 4 corners, I think it would have filled in the screen better. There is always next time

When the plant begins to flower you can still train it to line the buds up the way you want them. Once the plants starts budding the stretch phase slows down. At this point I tried my best to even out the heights of the buds so that they'd all grow about evenly. I stopped training completely when the buds were established and started to fatten.
