ok so im kind of a newbie. i have half ass attempted it before but failed. but this time i think im situated ok.

a grow box
i have fox farm ocean soil
4 100 watt cfls. totalling 5600 lumens
a fan near the bottom for intake and a hole in the top for the air to go out
i water each pot till saturated every other day.
but i can figure out what is wrong with this one. the other 2 look great. keep in mind it is less than a week old. but its two first fan leaves are very shriveled and crinkled.

any advice is greatly appreciated

Whats the temp. could be that or how close are your lights. it looks ok. can you post some pics of all the other ones too so we can judge them? it looks fine just keep an eye on it. What strain is that. Also what Kelvin are the CFL's?

well thanks for the quick reply. the cfls are 5600k so i think thats fine right? it says daylight on the box too. they are probably about a foot or a bit more away from the light .and the tempeture can range from 75 to 85 depending on when my house kicks on the AC. but right now its at about 85. and since this is my first real attempt im just using bag seed. some ok corn. this is mostly an experiment. if i can get it to work. ill get better seeds next time.

Too much water.

both pics to me look like perfectly healthy seedlings!! that's just my opinion of course...let the soil get dry, not too dry, between waterings, this will make the roots explode with growth...ocean forest is great shit, i used it for a while, just keep things steady like ya got it and you'll be fine...for my new grow i'm trying a soil mix for the 1st time, it's called the moonshine mix, there's a 100 page thread over at icmag bout, pretty awesome, and totally organic...you mix 1 bag of ocean forest, 1 bag light warrior and 1 bag planting mix, and throw in 2 five gal buckets worth of perlite and you've got yourself a potent, delicious, 100% organic growing medium...you don't even have to use veg nutes cause there's enough shit in the soil and then during flowering you add whatever organic ammendments you like....enjoy and happy growing...
