hey whats up everyone. well, i started my first CFL grow about 5 or 6 weeks ago. i also just put 3 bubba kush clones i got from craigslist about a week ago...and the other 3 plants in the bigger potts are the ones i have been growing from bagseed for 6 weeks. my growing area is aprox. 2'x2'x4.5'. i have 4 27 watt cfls i plan on adding 4 more in the next few days. i have been using 1/4 strength hydroponic veg nutes (supernatural nutes) 17-7-18. they seem to be growing kind of slow. i would of thought they would of been bigger by week 6. well, maybe its just the strain since they are bagseed. any tips on improving my grow room?

looks like youre off to a good start. You are correct in needing more lights, and that will definately help. Also, the lights could always be a little closer, as CFL's are most effective when placed within 2 inches of the foliage. Your setup looks right on track though., i look forward to watching this one

well if you have 4.5 ft of vertical space, and the avg plant grows to 2-3 times its size during flowering, then you would want to flower at or before 1.5 ft in height, unless you plan to top or lst. however growing it to that height could take close to or around 2 months. and then you would have to flower for quite a while longer since they would be so big. it all depends on size, space, and time...

it wont if you keep them far from the few lights, but get those other lights, slide em in close, and let your plants get bushy as well as tall.
