Just want to say Hello to everyone on this forum, I've read for a while but this is my first time posting in CFL. This is my first indoor grow so any help is appreciated. I started about 15 seeds on April 15 and grew them to about 4" in dixie cups. I then transplanted into 6" containers a few weeks later but used shitty Hyponex soil for Walmart and stunted their growth. After i sexed them I ended up with 6 lovely ladies. Kinda small but still nice. My growing chamber is built out of a:
$4 walmart plastic tub
2 pc case fans
2 Car Windshield Reflectors
2 42 w Warm White CFLs
2 26 w Warm White CFLs
2 26 w Daytime CFLs
188 total watts
I transplanted the 4 best girls into 1.5 gallon containers about a month ago with a good potting soil mix and they are loving it.
With my limited space I'm trying to LST them as much as possible. On all transplants I've buried them as deep as possible.
I figure I have at least 6-8 more weeks to go. Sorry for the cell pics I will try and buy a better camera soon.

they look fine .. mostly Indica so they don get real tall but will bush out some more as you have 6-8 weeks more of flowering

awww so cute what kinda soil? i have 9 plants, 30 days old, 6 inches tall, good pre flowers, in mircle gorw time relase soil, growin under 3 23 watt 6500k and 2 15 watt 2700k. they been in flowerin for 2 days now. when can i expect flowers? also i dont check ph sence i dont have a tester. but there lookin ok

They are looking really nice. I like the setup, bet it didnt cost much at all. If u can lst as much as you can (I know ya mentioned you have limited space), you can really get some more tops and light down that stem. Maybe use some yarn + duct tape, that seems to work best i hear.

Buckshot- Yeah the indica shows in these, got lucky with the seeds I used to get plants to work in a tight space. me, not from eve

jestacrazy- I used a "Moisture-Pro Potting Mix" from a local Garden Center. It was pre-fertilized 0.18-0.06-0.12. Its made of peat, forest materials, compost, perlite, limestone, extended release ferts, and water holding polymer. I think it's similar to MG moisture control. I didn't get the plants sexed till about 14 days after 12-12 light. The first to show were the boys with little balls close to the stems. I don't test pH either but I use RO filtered water and light organic nutes.

Intuition- I'm real pleased with the setup so far. It cost me around $60-$70 mostly the fans and lights. Right now i'm using coat hanger wire to train them down but i've also heard good things about yarn and duct tape. I'll try it out next training.

A couple questions/ thoughts about the grow I've been having:
Once I start to really LST them will I be able to pull them out of the Rubbermaid? What kind of pruning should I be doing to prevent mold issues once they get crowded? Is there an easy way to water without pulling out the plants so I don't spill fert on the flowers? If anyone has any experience with this type of grow their help would be great.
