Iam planning to do a stealth scrog grow. I know HIDs have higher lumen output/watt than compared to CFLs.

If my lumen output on my CFL is equal to that of HID, and Iam doing a scrog grow, so most of the light will be seen by my canopy and light penetration will not be a problem.

Should my yield with CFLs be similar with HIDs during flowering?

Maybe. The HID will give you more compact tight buds. Will you get a good harvest from cfl's, YES. But the hid will give you much better results. If you can keep your temps around 75-85 then go with HID. Using both will make even better bud.

I grew with cfls not scrog, but lst.
Only 1 or 2 per grow, avg. 1.5oz/plant dry.
Currently Flowering for the first time with 250w hps.
I topped twice, supercropped, and lst.
This is 8 days in 12/12
PK Clone vegged under cfl 1.5months
CFL flowered with 19,000 lumens
250w hps 30,000 lumens
I only hope for bigger yields
