Default is 2700 lumens the same as 2700k?
im attemping my first grow using cfl's, i found the right bulb for vegging, heres a pic of the it..

http://www.geocities.com/go2hell2007/VEG.jpg

its daylight 6500K bulb, 26w equiv. to 100w, lets out 1600 lumens, also says cool natural light.
~
i know for flowering u want a 2700K soft white bulb, i cant find anything that say "2700K" on it but i did find a light that says "2700 lumens" and i was just wondering if thats the same thing? heres a pic of the bulb..

http://www.geocities.com/go2hell2007/FLOWER.jpg

its 42w equiv. to 150w and lets out 2700 lumens so was just wondering if that is the right bulb for flowering my plants?
~
and last question.. do lumens even matter? or are the Kelvins all that really matter?

THANKS TO ALL WHO REPLY!

2700k is the place where its color is in the light spectrum, lumens are based on intensity

No. Lumens can be thought of as how strong/bright the light is to the human eye.

K refers to kelvin which is a color band reading. What color is the light? 2700K would be a warm white (orangish hue) good for flowering stage. The higher K bulbs such as 6500K would be good for the vegatative stage and would be more blue in hue.

no daylights are called daylights or full spectrum. cool or warm white is 2700k it usually says 2700k on the back of the box...in small lettering u have to look closely and read all the small print cus most of the time when people buy bulbs they dont care what "k" it is lol
