Hey guys,

I'm new to this, so please bear with me. I started a few seeds over the weekend and I have some 4"-5" plants. However, since I just had them in my window, they're VERY stretched. I just got my 2 CFL lights, and put my healthiest 4 under them.

My question for now is since they are stretched, can I re-pot them and bury the stem leaving only the leaves at the top? Or should I cut them off? Or just let them go and maybe the CFL will generate healthier growth?

What ive done is buried the extra that wasn't needed. but only up to an inch or 2 it will create a smaller bushier plant, as long as you have the cfl's about 1-2 inches away and all around, 2 will get you through now, but for future you will need more. good luck.
