Hello All,

I am starting my first grow shortly, and am curious as to whether when I switch to flowering whether I should change the bulb or add another one.

I will be starting growth with a 250w envirolite blue spectrum, and had planned to flower with an envirolite 250w red spectrum. I am wondering now though whether it would be a better idea to use both lights simultaneously when flowering to give the plants maximum light.

I will be growing 4-6 plants, do you have any suggestions to help maximize the yield with the lights I have?

Absolutely use both! For veg AND flower. Full spectrum light (or as close as you can get to it) is best for all growth stages. No reason to hold back.
