im useing 3 65 watt daylight and 8 cool white 26watt cfls. they seem to be doing well yet their growing slow. i was wondering how i can improve my set up without adding too many more lights.

You can get the lights closer to those plants. When you switch to 12/12, you'll want to keep raising them and keep an eye on them.

I'd wait until about 1ft tall, but a good rule of thumb is to wait until the leaves start alternating branches. It really depends on how you want to flower them and how tall you want them. They should triple in size after 12/12 and you can expect more branching out for side buds after they start flowering. Do you plan to do any techniques like topping/FIM to increase your yield?

i dont know how much head room you have or if its really a problem or not but looks like you could have one bad ass scrog set up if you wanted to and that would really increase yield and from the looks of it if you did a scrog you already have enough lights to get a good harvest imo

whats a scrog? and ya ill top them. i was thinking of bending them witch do you think is better

Dial into your plant's needs. Don't work to keep your plant alive, make it work to stay alive.

witha scrog its basically a screen or wire such as chickenwire that you strectch over the tops of the plants when the main tip grows throw one of the openings you tuck it back through and train it to grow under the screen this will allow the plant to have way more bud sites as you will be able to veg longer and keeps the canopy level then when you switch the lights to 12/12 every where there is a bub site will popup through the screen and you will be able to get all of your light right where it needs to be.
