I've been messing around with some bag seed, under a few CFL's. I have been kinda practicing, and seeing how the plates react, trying to gain some knowledge. I have a couple of plants that are really short and stocky. I'm assuming that i just have had the CFLs to close to the plants, but they are about 6-8 inches away.

The problem is I wanted to try to clone, and devolve a successful clone machine, but i can not find a branch that has any thing to take for a clone. There are fan leaves, but no areas where i could take a clone.

I don't know how to explain it much better, but if I wanted to take a clone I would have to take a branch off the main stem, that branch is probably 6-8 inches at the lower part of the plant. The plant has been vegging for about 8-10 weeks. What did I do wrong, and is there any where i could take a clone off this plant? Even if it was off the main stem?

post a pic and let us see what your working with if your plant has several sets of leaves you should be able to just top it ie. taking the top 4 or 5 nodes of and then skinning the bottom of that and root it and then that will leave you with two main branches when the plants recovers from the cut
