hey peeps i was wonderin can i go 12-12 from seed on the lights i have which are 2x20w 1x14w 1x11w any info greatly appreciated n as i said +rep for ya help

yes you can start 12/12 from seed. but the longer you veg. will give you more yield of course. the plant isnt going to show sex until it is mature enough anyways, so why not use an 18/6 schedule for the first 2 to 3 weeks then go to 12/12.

this is just a lil experiment while my 5 3 foot babys outdoors do there thing lol. do ya think this will produce enough light for a decent amount of bud considerin they will be 12-12 on monday meaning a week in veg

your bulbs should all be over 20 watts usually no less than 23 watts get a few 23 watts and a few 40 watters it will cover both ends of the spectrum and you can go straight into flowering. ppl here are just gonna say get more lights. keep them adjustable so you can move them as the plant grows

def. get more lights if you can. the more the better especially if your just going to use cfl's. replace the lower wattage bulbs with higher wattage.

Im only growing one plant right now under CFLS it is currently 1.5 foot wide 1.5 foot tall, putting it into flowering today, its under 10x26 watt cfls and 4x42 watt cfls, for approximately 30,000 lumens in a 3 foot by 2 foot space. hope that helps you out!

btw you need atleast 10,000 lumens per plant, 42 watt cfl put off 2700 a piece, 26 watt put off 1700 a piece

i only use cfl's for the first 3 weeks from seed, then its hid lights. a lot depends on how your going to grow them. like how tall. you want to use as many as you can fit in the op. use daylight cfl's for veg. and the soft white for flower. or a combo of both. use the highest wattage you can. put them above and use some for side lighting.

sorry i didnt really answer a minimum but i depends on the size and quality you want. you can grow them with 1 light min. but wont get good results. i just cant see flowering them with cfl's because i like 4 foot tall min. plants.
