anyone using the 105 watters.im having trouble keepin seedlings alive. how far away from lites are u keepin the youngins,mine are dryin n dyin 6-8 inchs away.is it feet an not inchs w/ these bulbs.PEACE

I'm not sure what your problem is. All CFLs generate light similarly(50-70 LM/w), a 105 watt actually produces less intensity per watt than smaller wattage CFLs. Over 42-65 watts it starts dropping from 75 lm/W maximum to around 100w being 65 lm/W to 200w being 50 lm/W. That's lumens per watt.

I recently killed 3 seedlings using my own compost and wormy bin dirt... was far too rich for the very weed-like MJ. Mix in some perlite with your next grow, or maybe just sprout in a Hempy bucket. :P
